Pet Patrol USA Gears Up for Launch: May Highlights & June Pet Preparedness

It’s hard to believe we’ve already flipped the calendar to June — and summer is officially knocking at the door.

June also marks National Pet Preparedness Month — a timely reminder that your furry friends need to be included in your family’s emergency plans. After all, your pets can’t make plans for themselves. That's where we come in. As we count down to the official launch of Pet Patrol USA at the end of June 2025, we’ll be sharing helpful tips and resources all month long to help you prepare. Follow along and learn how to plan ahead!

Before we fully kick off summer, let’s take a look back at what Pet Patrol USA accomplished in May:

• A Big Congratulations to Lisa Berry Barbosa!Lisa became a first-generation Elk, joining the Newport RI Lodge #104. She’ll use this platform to continue promoting her charitable work at the Potter League and advocate for veterans, hiring exclusively from military families.

• Portsmouth Animal Clinic is Looking Fetch: The amazing team at Portsmouth Animal Clinic showed off their Pet Patrol USA t-shirts — perfectly timed for the warm weather season!

• Giving Back at the Beach Bash: Pet Patrol USA was proud to participate in the second semi-annual Beach Bash, raising money for Animal Rescue RI. A huge congratulations to the lucky winner who scored a free round-trip ride for their pet to any scheduled appointment!
